Spiritual bypassing is as harmful for society as for an individual life. Love doesn’t shy away from the truth; it reveals what needs to be revealed in order to release what needs to be released. Denial is not spiritual.

We have a government that is lavishly generous with a small group of its donors but disgustingly miserly with large masses of its people. The fact that one party is a whole lot worse doesn’t excuse the other one. The citizens of the United States should not have to beg for crumbs

In the 1970s the average American worker got good benefits and could afford to own a home and a car, take a vacation every year and send their kids to college. Reaganomics ended all that.google.com/amp/s/www.cbsnews…

$2.9B profit and they can’t in the slightest way put people first. #ShameOnKroger
NEW: @Kroger is the U.S.’s largest grocery chain. It has made $2.9 BILLION in pandemic profits. Now it’s shuttering stores in multiple states just to avoid giving employees $4/hour hazard pay. We spoke to the Kroger workers who are about to lose their jobs.

WOW!
Myheritage.com has created some sort of animate your old photos application and I'm of course using it to feed my history addiction. I apologise in advance to all the ancestors I'm about to offend. Very fake history. I'm sorry Queenie.

Yell it from the rooftops.
If Rob Walton, a key owner of Walmart, can afford an estimated $226 million for an antique car collection that includes 12 Ferraris, 6 Porsches, 2 Maseratis and a 1963 Corvette Grand Sport Roadster, you know what? Walmart can afford to pay at least $15/hour to all of its workers.

Capitalism should not regulate the government; government should regulate capitalism. Until we get the #MoneyOutOfPolitics, the undue influence of money on our political system will continue to corrupt our democracy and will - if allowed to - ultimately end it.

You want to stimulate the economy? Give $2k/mo till the pandemic ends, retroactively and 3 months past when it’s over, pass #MedicareForAll, #CancelStudentDebt and #RaiseMinimumWage. This country would soar.

It CAN be done.
Costco announced it plans to increase its starting wage to $16 an hour starting next week. CEO W. Craig Jelinek says the move will help the company "in the long run by minimizing turnover and maximizing employee productivity." trib.al/dmY2Njf

Tens of millions live with chronic economic anxiety created by a massive transfer of wealth over the last 40 years. This transfer started with Repubs but no Dem has stopped it. Now when people ask for any relief at all they’re told to stop expecting so much. The system is insane.
