I support the Palestinian right to statehood as well.

Thank you! I support the right of anyone to support it who wishes to, and I have said so publicly.

Of course I support Palestinians. We have to find away to support both the security of Israel and the full human rights of the Palestinians. I do not agree with anyone, on the right or on the left, who support one at the expense of the other.

If that is true then I strongly condemn it.

I said many times that I support anyone’s right to support BDS, I have said many things in support of Palestinians & I have criticized Israeli govt positions in many instances. I’m not going to argue against misrepresentations of my positions.

But the reaction was specifically regarding the vaccination of Arab Israelis and Avi had a good point. That’s where it gets complicated. But you’re right, it was Saturday Night Live. I get it.

I don’t totally disagree with you. Most Jews I know do not. The issue becomes how to address it and how to change it.

God doesn’t do those things; people do those things. God is the love in our hearts, and when we do such things we are rejecting that love.

Me neither, but I get the point and I make the effort. We’re all in process.

Then you don’t get to say that any time we say that something is anti-Semitic that that’s just what we always say anytime you criticize Israel. The two are distinctly different things. I’ll make the distinction if you will.

No way,
In the U.S., the oil industry is exploiting the Capitol riots to push draconian 10-year prison sentences for protesters who target oil production sites. “Shock Doctrine” in action. @NaomiAKlein

This blue squiggly shape is Texas’ 35th congressional district — more than 80 miles of extreme gerrymandering. Stop blaming Texans for electing Republicans.

I hear you and I basically agree. But I still cringed. Anti-Semitism is on the rise today, in the United States and globally, and certain tropes are very dangerous. But I get it.

It is international law that the people of an occupied territory have a right to the resources of that land. On that issue, Israel in egregious noncompliance. They do not occupy Gaza, by the way, but the blockade is horrible and immoral.

For me, the question is not why I was smeared; oddly enough, it’s because they did realize I was serious and they knew that if I made it into the third debate I would be an inconvenience. The larger question, for me, is why and how people were so easily duped.
