It’s like we don’t even pretend anymore that monopolies are a bad thing. Fossil fuel companies no less 🤦🏻‍♀️. #FreeStevenDonziger

Yes true, but EPA is no longer headed by ex- fossil fuel execs. It was a long cold four years over there.

That was the last administration, not this one.

Hearing the SEC is going to investigate what happened with GameStop and Robinhood is sort of like hearing Kevin McCarthy is going to have a talk with Marjorie Taylor Greene. Everything’s fine now. All good.

.@BrianDeeseNEC - a mother who doesn't have enough food to feed her child doesn't care whether or not it's a "comprehensive package." Those words mean nothing to her. "Check in the mail" would, however.

Money, which began controlling our politics particularly in the 1990s. With the Citizens United Supreme Court decision in 2010, corporations got unlimited power to influence political campaigns. And here we are.

Yes, and they’re arguing with the Republicans over the size of the Covid relief bill. Haven’t you heard?

Some Republicans say the $1.9T Covid relief bill is too much money to spend on helping people. But there are other things they’re only too happy to pay for.

No one is blaming teachers. It was the concentration on STEM that was achieved at the expense of the humanities, culture and history. Teachers routinely complained but school boards were not always listening.

Many talked about it - particularly teachers - but few in power gave it the serious attention it should have received. Issues regarding children are routinely peripheralized. Current events are helping to awaken us and hopefully that will change.

Believe it or not, politicians’ communications directors do note what’s happening on the Internet. When something becomes a major conversation on Twitter they report it. Just keep repeating what you think is true. Buzz is a big deal.
