That’s why we have to be on this issue like a hawk. The House bill HR1 went a long way towards fixing this, but as long as the Senate is in the hands of the Republicans then things will not change.

There are issues of private morality and issues of public morality. Traditionally the Right concerns itself more with private morality and the Left more with public morality. Economics is a moral issue. Equality is a moral issue. Justice is a moral issue. War is a moral issue.

The idea that any person in America is having to ration their insulin so Big Pharma can make more money - and Big Pharma even sues a State for trying to make insulin cheap and available to its poor - is so morally corrupt that it should be an awakening to every American #vote2020

Enough of us to see what’s happening though. We need to get active, we need to support progressive candidates particularly, and we need to vote is if our lives depended on it.

No international law is going to fix it. The only thing that will fix it is enough American citizens voting differently.

Yeah, one slanderous book and the pseudo-intellectual class has decided to cancel Gandhi now.

If you think he’s doing a damn thing about child trafficking or pedophilia, you’re misled. Q Anon is nothing but a right wing pro-Trump conspiracy group - not some enlightened awakening to truth.

We WERE negligent. Look at the relatively small number of people in the United States who actually vote.

These factors statistically transform a society from path of conflict to path of peace: greater economic opportunities for women, greater educational opportunities for children, reduction of violence against women, and the amelioration of human despair. On these we should insist.

Ours is on life support, but not all of them are.

That’s exactly what they want you to think. Leaving electoral politics out of the formula is a sure way to make sure fundamental change will never occur, authoritarianism will beat down the door, and the poor of the world will suffer the most.

3/ There is no propaganda, no technology, no money and no governmental power that will be able to stop the tide of evolutionary advancement in the direction of love, once enough people awaken to the realization that that’s the only reason we’re here.

2/ The economic and political systems of the world are determining who we become, when it is we who should be determining what they are. They are our masters for only one reason: we have forgotten that they are our servants.

1/ The world would become a different place if the advanced democracies of the world agreed to eradicate deep global poverty over the next 10 years. Why doesn’t it happen? Because we aren’t insisting that it happen. We ourselves need to become laser focused on what we really want

I don’t “advocate the destruction of America monuments.” I do think we should take down the Confederate monuments and put them in a museum, however. As far as paint thrown on the statue of George Washington, I think a 10 year prison sentence is totally absurd for such an offense.

No, he would be alarmed by propaganda such as this.
