.@Oseguera2020 was one of the endorsees who I interviewed on the progressivecandidatesummit.c…. Check him out. He’s a wonderful candidate. Let’s help him get there!
This grassroots, people powered campaign OBLITERATED @RepSires in our last FEC filing. We out-raised a 14 year incumbent by a 3 to 1 margin & conveniently none of the local media seems to have picked up on that 🤔

High-minded conservatives want to conserve what’s fundamentally true, limit the scope of govt, stress personal accountability etc. I totally respect that; there’s a yin/yang between conservative & liberal that works. But Trump & his ilk are not conservative; they are neo-fascist.

I don’t know if you don’t know my record or if you’re purposely misrepresenting it, but either way you’re wrong.

This is what happens when there’s a conservative Supreme Court majority. With them in on the plans for systemic voter suppression, we have a much harder job on our hands. We need a Democratic Senate so we can get Voting Rights legislation. It’s everything! nytimes.com/2020/06/26/us/su…

Good try. Are you under the impression that Trump is doing anything for those 3.6 million black children living in poverty? (and it’s a much bigger number than that, by the way)

What happened in Kentucky is playing out the same way in Colorado. The candidate chosen by the corporatist elite (Hickenlooper) is up against a progressive champion (Romanoff). We have one week to go! Let’s be all over it @Romanoff2020 andrewromanoff.com

Oh OK. Thanks for telling me. From now on, before I write a book or a tweet I’ll make sure and ask you if it’s realistic enough.

I think the question is the opposite. Anything other than a peaceful revolution will produce unacceptable and unimaginable suffering.

But we’re still here! We’re experiencing the mess too. But I hear what you’re saying, absolutely.

No. Think Indian Independence movement, not the French Revolution. Peaceful. Nonviolent. Successful.

And why do you think that is?

I get it. And retired people still vote - statistically in even greater numbers. The change won’t happen unless all of us are in.

I don’t think that’s true. Underestimating older people is as blind as underestimating younger people. Every generation has a unique filter and unique gifts. Youthful passion turns into mature wisdom. Each needs the other.

Don’t kid yourself. A lot of people older than that are in this too. The younger you are the more you know certain things but the older you are the more you know certain other things. Separating ourselves by generations limits us at this point. We’re all one generation of adults.

4/ We either have a govt “of the people, by the people & for the people” - or a govt “of the corporations, by the corporations & for the corporations.” This generation will decide. We’ll either descend into neo-fascist darkness, or have “a new birth of freedom” - #LikeLincolnSaid
