I did read the article. But I also understand how few people read the New York Times op Ed section compared to how many people are listening to right wing propaganda. We need to be smart as well as pure, but I do understand the debate here. I get it.

It IS listening to the people when you hear so many people take the phrase and twist it. But I understand the argument being made to keep the language as it is, as well.

Are you serious? Little to show for it?? How about the fact that we actually had a middle class, a fraction of the people incarcerated that we have now, and far more upward mobility?
