No it’s not. It’s wisdom and discernment.

Yes they do, actually. The data mining takes propaganda to a whole new level.

I hear that. Mark Zuckerberg knows how he could stop allowing Facebook to be used for totally nefarious purposes. He could do it if he wanted to.

I didn’t say the government should shut it down. I suggested that a man who makes billions of dollars from a completely amoral business model with undue influence on our elections might consider doing something good for his country.

In the interest of his country, Mark Zuckerberg should shut down Facebook until after the election. We lived without it before and we can survive a few months without it. So might our democracy. #FacebookTakeABreak

Last night’s #ProgressiveCandidateSummit featured congressional candidate @KeedaHaynes, whose personal story exemplifies just how badly criminal justice reform is needed in America. Don’t miss it! #TN05 pscp.tv/w/ca7WnDFkdktPTG9WZ3…

If we can't trust the integrity of the electoral system then we have nothing. Whoever's so intent on sowing chaos there is succeeding at the moment. They won't succeed ultimately because we won't let them, but man they're winning now. buzzfeed.com/mjs538/long-vot…

I know. And they don’t even pretend that’s not the issue. Trump even tweeted it yesterday, saying that’s why they should block vote by mail. It is absolutely mind-boggling..

2/ The House passed HR 1 to fix a lot of the problems but the Senate blocked it. Efforts yesterday to restore the Voting Rights Act but McConnell blocked it. I can’t for the life of me figure out how the modern Republican Party justifies its efforts to make voting more difficult.

1/ We’ve always read about pro-democracy movements in different parts of the world - and the place that really needs one now is the United States of America. People are infuriated by what happened yesterday in GA and NV, and that’s just a taste of what we’re in for in November.

No, it’s that we need to RESTORE democracy!

For those who’ve ever thought it didn’t matter who they voted for - while others begged them to remember the importance of the Supreme Court - this is why it does. The Voting Rights Act of 1965 forbade all this, but in 2013 SCOTUS chipped away at the VRA. And here we are.
Georgia closed 214 polling places after Supreme Court gutted Voting Rights Act There were 80 fewer polling places for June primary in metro Atlanta, where majority of black voters live Mitch McConnell is blocking legislation passed by House Dems to restore the VRA
