He knows what he’s doing and he knows what he’s signaling. But we know what we’re doing and we know what we’re signaling. We’re harnessing love for political purposes... and love will win.
So Trump is holding his next rally on Juneteenth ... in Tulsa, the site of the 1921 race massacre ...

Spread the word about this. Particularly harmful to children. Call your mayor’s office.
I know my following's not very big, but if you see this could you please reblog The US Police are using sonic weapons that can permanently damage hearing and eardrums at peaceful protests. The more people know, the more likely they are to cower and remove them #BlackLivesMatter

When consumerism guides our behavior, we’re corralled into an unnatural isolationism. When making the world a better place guides our behavior, we re-align with a more natural pattern of collective activity.

The power of the movement now lies in its longevity. The variety of expression is magnificent - seeing the creativity of the American people expressed collectively is amazing. But we can’t stop. Success is happening, but it will only continue if we do.
Don’t let the media tell you that this movement has fizzled out. I joined thousands of riders in Brooklyn for a bike protest because #BlackLivesMatter ✊🏾🚴🏾‍♀️🖤

The point is to keep moving forward. The constitution is a living document. Our power doesn’t lie just in incriticizing it but in amending it. We can fix what’s broken.

We can celebrate and keep our foot on the gas at the same time. The celebration causes a lightheartedness that the system doesn’t know how to deal with. It’s genius.

Remains to be seen. I certainly hope so.

THIS. Extremely.
I don't know who needs to hear this, but Congress really needs to restore the Voting Rights Act.

What makes it powerful is that it’s a leaderless movement, led by the voice of conscience within everyone. If it continues to be a spontaneous expression of the higher aspirations of the American people, with peace & love at the core of the rebellion - we got this. #wokerebellion

Whether slavery, lack of women’s suffrage or segregation, ultimate change occurred when the people rose up & the people stepped in. That’s what’s happening now. Gov’t failed to act for too long; the sleeping giant of the American people awakened, rose up and stepped in. Thank God

Is this what the president calls out of control?
Replying to @joemirabella
There were teach-ins, people playing music, artists, neighbors talking to neighbors about what we’ve been through together. There were conversations about racism & a collective amusement about how our neighborhood is being SO SEATTLE right now.

It’s not. 13th, 14th and 19th amendments. Denigrating the genius of the US Constitution is not the way forward.

Imagine a new America - one not constricted by corporate rule of economy & politics. Where all of us feel the reality of liberty & justice. Where children & earth & animals are treated with reverence. Where we’ve atoned & made amends for our mistakes. To imagine it is to begin it

How about if it’s not Democrats, it’s just Americans?
