I love her. She's a good friend. She's just wrong about politics:), which of course is how she feels about me!

I have an argument with a friend where I support free college, Medicare4All, Green New Deal etc. & she tells me we need an "incremental approach;" that such things are "too far left." I tell her they're centrist in Europe. She says "We're not Europe." I bang my head against a wall

No I'm not. Just not until we get a new president. I know not everyone agrees with me, but for me denying him a second term is the top priority.

Sure is. But if huge corporations do it, it's called saving the economy.

American and Delta Airlines were both part of the $25B bailout to the airline industry and both announced big layoffs today. What am I missing...?

Try reading some actual history and compare the two. Conspiracy theories are easy; real intellectual analysis not so much. There’s been a conspiracy but it’s not covert; it’s a very overt takeover of the US government by multinational corporate forces seeking their profit first.

Yes we know child trafficking goes on but no evidence Epstein was involved w/ Israeli trafficking operation (something all right wing cults have in common is how they get around to blaming the Jews.) Dealing w child trafficking important; thinking Trump is their savior is absurd.

I’ve looked into it a lot, and there is nothing to indicate that it is an honest source of information coming from behind the curtain.

You nailed it. I think it’s absolutely the failure of our educational system, a limit on our capacity for critical thought. 11 states don’t even require half a year of American civics, history or government.

My spirituality is actually quite traditional. It’s the universal spiritual themes at the heart of all the great religious systems, from humility before God to forgiveness to service to love.
