For me it shows we’re not serious ENOUGH - about the threat that Trump poses! None of these questions can be considered outside the context of the danger he represents.

I hear you, but not voting is not going to “teach them a lesson.” If that were the case they would’ve learned it last time. Right now we have nothing short of a fascist threat on our hands. To me, defeating Trump has to come first. The morning after, I respect whatever you decide.

The millions of Americans who have been culturally tranquilized to somehow not notice that the pillars of American democracy are being chipped away at, removed right in front of our eyes.

Okay, so Biden wins. We begin the very next morning strongly articulating what we want. It will only take a very short time to know whether we're being taken seriously or just pandered to by a Biden administration. THEN we'll know what we need to know - whether to stay or leave.

So were those. They were up to it. Now it's our turn.

Not just the billionaires. It works for the 1%. The problem is not that some people can get rich in America; the problem is that not enough people get a chance to.

All democratic socialist countries. The most enlightened societies are a combination of both.

Slavery was tragic. Suppression of women was tragic. Genocide of Native Americans was tragic. Jim Crow was tragic. But the question for us, as it was for those before us who responded to those questions, is not whether those things were tragic. The question is, are we brave?

No it's not the only logical conclusion, not yet. First we have to defeat Trump, then we can appraise the situation.

It’s not the poor who are gaming the system; it’s the very rich who are gaming the system.

3/ But every problem comes bearing its own solution. It's in the midst of how bad all this is that the miracle is born. People are waking up. People are seeing the rot. People are asking themselves, "Why are we putting up with this?" And from that the necessary changes will come.

2/ If your democracy is under attack, your house is rotting. If your economy is unjust, your house is rotting. If your food and environmental policies literally cause people to be ill, your house is rotting. If your citizens are duped into not seeing this, your house is rotting.

1/The biggest failure of both our politics & media is that most news analysis is kept on the surface, always dealing with symptom & rarely dealing with cause. It's always talking about the house yet rarely addresses the health of its foundation. In fact the foundation is rotting

Democrats continuing to give Dems in Congress a pass for times when they agree with Repubs at the expense of their own principles, is not helpful to the Democratic party and certainly not to the country. A Democratically led House has gone along with Trump way too many times.
