Beautiful breaking news: after long years of incredibly hard work by students + faculty, the Cornell trustees just voted to divest from fossil fuel. Along w/Brown, they take divestment deep into the Ivies--a huge signal to Wall St.

My experience with voters was that if you actually explained the history and laid out the moral argument, people totally turned around. Leaders are supposed to lead, not follow.

It’s not about trusting anyone but ourselves. But we have got to get active and vote in huge numbers. That does override everything else.

Not at all. I know some very wonderful, loving people who support him. I just can’t help but wonder sometimes whether they have taken a deep look at some of his policies and how they effect people. Not covered much on Fox News.
