3/ The planet itself has become a ticking time bomb, and when this pandemic eases each and every one of us needs to become passionately involved in creating a different world. The opportunities will be there, we just need to become people ready & prepared to rise to the occasion.

2/ Environmentally, if we don’t do something radical within seven years we could have massive social collapse beyond anything we’ve ever seen. Whole swaths of continents too hot to grow food. Economic collapse. Food system collapse. Hundreds of millions of environmental refugees.

1/ It’s not just pandemics that we were risking. Same with nuclear & environmental issues as well. When I was young we marched to “Ban in the bomb.”Today we’ve all just accepted a horrifying reality & do little more than cross our fingers hoping something terrible doesn’t happen.

2/ Over 100,000 people have been killed in Yemen, including children. I always feel I have to repeat that again for some reason: GENOCIDE. And it couldn't be happening without us! Congress tried to stop it, actually. But Trump vetoed and they didn't have enough votes to override.

1/ For many years the US sold arms to Saudi Arabia, under Repub as well as Dems presidents. All of them argued "It's okay because they'll never use them." Well they're using them now. For a $360B arms sale, the US gives aerial support to Saudi's genocidal war in Yemen.

No, every administration does not do this. And believe me, the last thing I would ever do is mock the victims of Nazism. If anything it is in honor of them to sound the alarm when anything even close to that happens again.

Exactly! Of the HOUSEHOLD! America should not be run like a business, we should be run like a family. Modern economics was invented before women had a voice in the public sphere, but we do now. That’s why I love @StephanieKelton

Are you under the impression that something like that “couldn’t happen here?”

Are you kidding? It is because I’m Jewish that I’m so alert to the problem.
