It is absolutely NOT why we have the Second Amendment! First of all, they’re not a “well regulated militia,” And secondly the Founders didn’t write the Second Amendment so that a bunch of people could come into a state capitol and intimidate democratically elected lawmakers.

Each of us has to decide for ourselves, but for me it’s this: I want to know I’ve done everything I could to promote a serious progressive agenda within the Dem Party. But if I continue to see insurmountable obstruction from corporate Dems, I’m going elsewhere after the election.
