Yes, but then to turn that into political force - electing people who use the levers of power to change what needs to be changed.

I hope you win too, Betsy. Democrats who stand up for a real progressive vision are the ones who will win this year. Let people see a genuine alternative to a corporatist agenda for the world.
Today: a Democrat who supports M4A WON her primary in Nebraska. Also today: a Democrat who opposes M4A LOST her special election in California. #MedicareForAll is not only the sensible health care position, it’s the winning one. Corporate-owned Dems are getting left behind.

If you disagree with someone, state your own opinion & it’s different than theirs, that doesn’t mean you’re “shaming” them. Some of us think voting 3rd party is the best way to go; others think we need to vote Biden so Trump doesn’t win. It’s not bad; it’s an important discussion

People were undereducated about what America has done wrong - it’s true - but also undereducated about what America has done right. We need to love what we’ve done right enough to be brutally honest and self-aware enough as a country to address what we’ve done wrong.

Nothing to forgive, but thank you:)

I continue to believe that the most enlightened societies have both capitalist and socialist elements.

Employing someone is not inherently exploiting them. There is such a thing as righteous profit when people are paid fairly and are free to set their own terms.

What a way to undercut an endorsement.

I recommend an effective government that listens to scientific & medical experts and puts the health & well-being of the American people before dedication to an economic system that has failed, is failing, and if allowed to will continue to fail the higher aspirations of the USA.

Having run for prez I can tell you it won’t be easy; I spent a year in the belly of the beast myself. But it can be done! Abolition wasn’t easy, Suffrage wasn’t easy & Civil Rights movement wasn’t easy. We need to train & elect serious progressives & get the money out of politics

He’s right. And it’s ours to decide what that means and where it leads...

I’m one generation away from poverty and my father never let us forget it. I would be spitting on my father’s grave every day if I didn’t stand to the best of my ability for the things he stood for. “Beat the system, kids. Beat the system.”

So if somebody disagrees with you that means they “fell for the narrative?”
