In an impersonal, abstract way I do. I realize that everyone is a child of God. But that doesn’t mean criminals, fascists or tyrants should have their way with us, or that evil doesn’t exist.

Why is short term profit for huge corporate interests considered serious political discussion, but the idea that compassion and mercy should guide public policy considered less so? Something that is the only survivable option for the human race is not a less serious conversation.

When people ask “But what does love have to do with politics?” The answer is “Right now, nothing. And that’s the point.” That’s why we’re in the shape we’re in. Our lack of love for the planet, our lack of love for each other & our lack of love for animals is literally killing us

We’re on the earth to love each other, and anything we do with any other purpose in mind leads to personal and collective chaos. That’s the radical truth obscured by layers of complexity that do nothing but cause ultimate suffering.

We need to be committed to certain changes. Ending animal factory farming is one of them.
Factory farms are breeding grounds for pandemics. Raising billions of genetically compromised chickens in filthy cramped factories isn't efficient, it's a time bomb. We know how to make ourselves safer. But will we? Pledge to end big poultry today. farmforward.com/#!/endbigpou…

You’re right about 2008, but you still cannot compare the agenda of a Joe Biden to an agenda of Donald Trump. It’s true that we’re not offered perfection here, but if we’re not careful we’re going to have fascism on our doorstep. And that’s not something to mess around with.

It would have been totally viable at the beginning had we not given it to the corporations instead, many of whom did not need it and are not using it to support workers. The strings are technically there but are basically unenforceable. This has been a bailout for the rich only.

On the issue of the bailout, one was a million times worse.

Politicians who refuse to provide people with enough bailout to be able to survive staying home, who then tell those people that the tyrants are the ones saying they have to stay home in order to avoid risking their lives, deserve no amount of public trust whatsoever.#votethemout

Unfortunately for us, this thread is correct.
All right. We need to talk about Trump, Fox News, OANN, the history of modern Right Wing propaganda, and how the pandemic will not only push the Right further into extremism but possibly result in a wildly-dangerous, state-run propaganda network. 1/
