No, you do not get to pull a gun on someone like that. A citizen’s arrest isn’t justification for shooting someone. And trespassing isn’t punishable by death! How could he not have tried to defend himself? If two people came at you with a gun would you not try to defend yourself?

If you work and pay taxes, it IS your money. And other people’s lives are at risk here, not just yours.

There’s no proof he was NOT “just out jogging.”No matter what he was doing we’re not a country where vigilantes should get to go shoot someone because they don’t like what he’s doing. You’re “sick of the narrative?” Let me narrate again: This is America & we’re a nation of laws.

Yep. Money given to individuals actually goes back into the economy, more stimulating than giving it to big companies who are not required to hire or pay workers.

No, those bailouts were given with no requirement whatsoever that they use the money to pay their workers. And no American citizen should be forced to choose between their livelihood and their health, needing to go back to work in a medically risky situation.

All I know Is that Trump must be defeated. I pray enough Americans will vote for the Democratic candidate, whoever that is, to make sure it happens.

In 1965 we passed the Voting Rights Act to ensure blacks in the South would have equal access to the polls. It kept our voting rights intact, but in 2015 the Supreme Court started chipping away at the Voting Rights Act. Since then voter suppression efforts have been rampant.

Of course not. But for me, right now we have to make sure Trump does not win again. As soon as we have that handled, believe me I’m all in for addressing the other issue.

How is it being dependent on government when it’s our own tax money? When $500B is given to big companies who don’t even need it, why is that considered a reasonable bailout but giving #directcashrelief to individuals an example of a Nanny state?

Citizen awareness in a situation like this is not just our right; it’s our responsibility. If citizens had not become aware and active in this case, those two men would still be free.

“Black man jogging” in your mind is “reasonably suspicious?!”

And that’s WHY people should get #directcashrelief
