I wasn’t only talking about love. I talked about economic justice, corporatism, waging peace, race, traumatized children, health care+. It was BECAUSE I talked about love tho that such an effort was made to block me. They only said I was silly because they knew how serious I was.

It’s often said people have to bottom out before they’ll be open to fundamental change. A crisis takes us to our knees & we know we can’t keep doing things the way we’ve been doing them. That’s the end of that which was destroying us & the beginning of that which will heal us.

Faith is an aspect of consciousness; in a real way there’s no such thing as a faithless person. We either have faith in our power to change things, or we have faith in the power of the disaster. It’s a choice.

So much new & good is going to come from this. We can stop deluding ourselves that our current way of organizing our society is either sane or even survivable! That had to come first in order to rock us to our core, to humble us. Now we’ll be open to new ideas in a whole new way.

I was exactly who I am now, saying exactly what I’m saying now. Audiences who heard me realized it and responded. But on twitter and in the media the ridicule and vilification were ubiquitous. “Contempt prior to investigation.” I couldn’t/didn’t override it.
