I agree. They assume you're young and they assumed I'm lightweight. You're right in your analysis - if you just "work your way up," then you become one of them while you're climbing! But I'm still voting for Biden if he's the Democratic nominee. For me there is no other choice.

I don't feel I'm "jumping onboard," and I would know from browbeaten here. It's just that for me the priorities are clear: we cannot let Trump win again.

The economy should serve us; we should not serve the economy.

There's a lot of talk about America going down, not being the first class nation we once were. But this course-correction had to occur. We're seeing what's so wrong so we can make it right. Losing our grandiosity we'll reclaim our grandeur. In the end we'll all be better for this

He started out good, then became murderous. He is the last thing we need right now.

"Those who make peaceful revolution impossible make violent revolution inevitable." - JFK. A peaceful revolution IS a revolution. A violent one is simply chaos and catastrophe.

There are Democrats and there are Democrats. What we have there is a microcosm of the country: a minority corporate elite who run things at the expense of the rank and file. Should we just give up? I'm not ready to do that.

First we have to defeat Trump in November. We cannot afford to take our eye off that ball.

Many of us remember a time when the Democratic party was not dominated by corporatists - when real liberals had power - and it's hard to give up on that ideal. More importantly, right now it's about timing if nothing else. We cannot let Trump win again!

Because right now the risk of reelecting Trump is too significant.

The Democratic party should stand for something that's opposite to - not just a better version of - the fundamental corporatist paradigm that now dominates our system. Our promising to ameliorate the effects of injustice is not enough; we should stand for eradicating their cause.

An unjust system perpetuates itself by making things simple appear complicated. Direct cash relief to individuals is not complicated; it's a life-saving, reasonable economic bailout- & as much a stimulus as payment to big companies. Call your Congresspeople now. #directcashrelief

We have to be wiser and smarter than we have been in the past.

Let’s not forget the Mary Cassatts, Marie Curies and Ruth Bader Ginsbergs who, even when not in poverty, were not and are not allowed to express themselves or actualize their talents.

I understand. There are many situations like that. But we have to look at the larger picture. Especially now that some very strange disease are occurring among children and we don’t have all this figured out yet.

So as not to be their patsies! When I said things inconvenient to that establishment, they vilified me w/ ridiculous caricature. Perfect strategy: make someone serious appear silly. But people absolutely ate it up. You’re hardly fighting the system if you dupe that easily.
