Given how few have voted, we can’t really say the peaceful political revolution has failed. We haven’t really waged it yet.

We spend $.54 of every $ on defense related investments, but it’s been proven we’d get more from investments in education & infrastructure. Transition from war economy to peace economy would create more jobs, not fewer. And corp bailouts did not include requirement to pay workers

With every child we undereducate & every person we fail to provide the opportunity to thrive, we deprive ourselves as a nation of our richest resource: an infinite potential for creativity and productivity that lies within us all. People are our greatest wealth & we squander it.

I only let myself go there for an hour a day, maybe two. Anything else and you start to spiral down. It takes a lot of emotional discipline to get through all this, doesn’t it? Truth be told, it’s going to make us much stronger people.

He’d have to invite me. You don’t just get to call him up and say “Hey Bill, have me on!”

1) $738B defense authorization this year. 2) 2017 $2T tax cut w/ $.83 of every $ going to the richest corporations & people. 3) $500B Covid bailout already to the same corporations who got the money in 1 and 2. Ready for the political revolution yet?

Uh, a lot of Europe seems to be doing pretty well. The most enlightened societies have elements of both capitalism and socialism.

When I was growing up my father used to walk around the house saying, “Beat the system, kids!” My mother would usually respond with something like, “Come eat dinner, Sam. It’s going to get cold.” It took me over 60 years to realize how much he wasn’t joking.
