2/ This is why a country should not be run like a business; it should be run like family. The fact that our government is doing more to protect big businesses than to protect small children at such a time as this is a moral outrage and an unsustainable trajectory for our country.

1/ 13 million children In America were hungry even before Covid, yet they are essentially “invisible Americans.” Too young to vote therefore representing no voting constituency, and too young to work therefore representing no financial leverage, they wield no power in Washington.

3/ Today it’s not enough to be fiercely protective of our own children; we must be fiercely protective of everyone’s kids. Only if we expand the circle of our compassion to include every child will any child stand a reasonable chance of growing up in a peaceful world.

2/ Given the threats to humanity’s young today, it could be argued that the adult females of our species are not proactively intending for our species to survive.

1/ A common anthropological characteristic of every advanced species that survives and thrives is the fierce behavior of the adult female when she senses a threat to her cubs.

“...aren’t even articulated, much less debated” doesn’t even begin to cover it. More like “are made to appear ridiculous,” “treated like a joke, “described as obviously not serious,” etc. - while the two-headed monster of groupthink takes us closer and closer to disaster.

As corrupt as the situation is, if more of the 99% voted we wouldn’t be where we are.

There’s actually more money to be made from investment in education and infrastructure then there is to be made from investment in war. A shift from a war economy to a peace economy would expand, not limit our economy.

The greatest hope for world peace is that we begin to infuse early childhood with attitudes of infinite compassion. As we do that, the brain synapses of future generations will expand and humanity will evolve to meet the challenge of survival in the 21st century.

Every child in every neighborhood is born with infinite potential. The fact that we fail to provide the systems to actualize that potential is the source of all societal dysfunction. The change has to start with us: that we recognize the value of every child and vow to help them.

It’s more than just that. It’s also universal healthcare. Higher education for everyone. Removal of college loan debt. Repeal of corporate subsidies. Fair and reasonable corporate taxation. THAT is economic stimulus.

What resources are you possibly referring to?

Some people seem to think that were we to help people thrive, it would destroy the economy. THE OPPOSITE IS TRUE. Helping all people thrive is the key to creating the most abundant economy possible. We need an economic paradigm shift.
