I love @DrBiden. The woman who said that “if she’s our First Lady we’ll be getting one of the best humans out there” was right. She’s deep and soulful and real, and I think she’d be a blessing on the country.

Congratulations to our endorsee @AC4Congress2020 who won his primary tonight in Florida-03. He’s a strong progressive and will be the youngest person to ever serve in the House of Representatives. Let’s make sure he wins in November! I’m thrilled for him and I’m thrilled for us.

I didn’t think you were! I just wanted set the record straight. Sorry if I appeared defensive, it wasn’t how I was feeling.

Thank you. That is exactly correct.

Voter suppression against Black men and women continued, particularly in the South, but that doesn’t change what the 19th amendment said. “The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of sex.”

Neither “spiritualism nor positive thinking” are correct descriptions of my career & I’ve been a non-profit & political activist for over 30 years. Social justice movements from abolition, women’s suffrage & civil rights all emerged from religious and spiritual forces, by the way

No it did not. Voter suppression against Black men as well as women continued however, particularly in the South, and continued until the Voting Rights Act in 1965.

I think she would have rolled her eyes. She was actually very proud of that arrest, which was for trying to vote before it was legal for a woman to do so.

Today is the 100 year anniversary of the ratification of the 19th amendment giving American women the right to vote. Women were egregiously oppressed before then, and the vote gave them their first big way to change that.facebook.com/207697880579/po…

I don’t agree with that. That’s not how they interpreted it last time and that’s not how they would interpret at this time.

No they absolutely are not all violent, and whatever news channel is telling you that is beyond biased. Peaceful protesters are being beaten in the streets by police!! Are you condemning that?

There is no “side.” We should be Americans on this. That’s what’s missing
