This is corporate responsibility and capitalism with a conscience. A humanitarian bottom line. People remembering what’s important and what’s not. Bravo. wptv.com/news/national/coron…

Thank you, but I have no healing crystals and never did. Sort of a sore point with me.

Normally it would be called theft, but when the federal government does it it’s just ...Trump being Trump.

Texas needs representatives in Congress who can’t be bought or arm-twisted, who show up, listen to those they serve & stand for them. @JulieOliverTX has got heart -- I know she’d make a fantastic Congresswoman for the people in #TX25. Please chip in: bit.ly/2FFYK09

3/ The system has revealed itself deeply inadequate in responding to crises, particularly those that it creates. Ask every politician, “What would we do if there was a nuclear disaster?” “What would we do if there was a global weather catastrophe?” If they just squirm, fire them.

2/ It’s very important we remember those things, as there will be tremendous temptation to forget them once we get on the other side of this. The system will do everything it can to return to “normal;” we should never forget how dangerous that normal is to vast numbers of people.

1/ COVID revealing as many problems as it’s creating: lack of adequate healthcare system; lack of adequate investment in science and medical research; systemic economic injustice towards black Americans as well as indigenous peoples; lack of govt compassion in response to crisis

Many of us do remember. I don’t know whether it’s the property taxes or some other measure, but clearly it’s time for the next step forward in doing justly by indigenous peoples.
