This should not be happening. It’s the shadow side of American capitalism, propped up by government literally at the expense of people’s lives. Shame on those who perpetuate this travesty at such a time as this. cnbc.com/2020/04/09/why-stat…

We will have radical change, or we will have even more radical destruction. Those are our only two choices. In ACIM there is this relevant line: “Some people would rather die than change their mind.”

WOW! So wonderful to be reminded what the human spirit can do. Thank you, Henry Fraser. You’re an inspiration we all need right now.

Something I saw on the campaign trail is that in every area of our society we already have the people & projects that would pave the way to a better future. The problem is that our system does more to fund the problem-creators than to fund the problem solvers. We can change that.

Every day it goes on, the enormity of this experience is dawning on us more and more. It’s a complete and total break from the life we knew. Our challenge is to imagine changes as enormous in their capacity to heal us, as the pandemic is enormous in its capacity to destroy us.

I’m sorry, but I think that article is very misleading. It’s clear to me who paid for it. I’m not demonizing fossil fuel companies & I realize we couldn’t have fought WWII without them etc. But that was then and this is now. We do not have time anymore for such a gradual shift.

When the history of these times is written, the Sunrise Movement will be in the books. Their ancestors would feel proud and their descendants will feel blessed...

Tens of millions of Americans aren’t sure they’re going to have enough money to eat over the next week - plus many of them are sick - but our government bailed out the private jet industry.
