Authoritarians everywhere wasting no time using this crisis as opportunity to push through undemocratic agendas. Hungary, Israel, USA. SCOTUS opinion today re Wisconsin is pure voter suppression. No generation of Americans was ever more challenged to rise up & save our democracy.

There is a deep turbulence stirring in the hearts of many, many Americans, as we watch the pillars of our democracy chipped away at by unscrupulous people. I place my bet on those in this generation who, like generations before us, will only take so much before we say, “No more.”
BREAKING: By a 5-4 vote, Supreme Court sides with Wisconsin Republicans and blocks an extension of absentee voting in tomorrow’s election.

Why voting matters.
Jamie Dimon: "There should have been a pandemic playbook” There actually was one: documentcloud.org/documents/… It was 69 pages. It went step-by-step into how the federal government should respond. It was color-coded, too. The Trump team didn't read it. finance.yahoo.com/news/jamie…

I did find the peace of God within, and that’s WHY I believe we’re on the earth to behave like brothers. “Love one another” isn’t a communist plot, and international cooperation isn’t a Luciferian code phrase.

That’s ridiculous. Cooperation does not imply dictatorship or authoritarianism. Those who don’t want to cooperate just want us to think that.

Nationalism is not a good thing. It’s a belief that one’s country is “better,” a conceit no less arrogant in a country than an individual. It’s a pride based on separation and national ego.

We can’t create a world in which there are no bad actors, but we can create a level of global cooperation that makes us much less vulnerable to their machinations.

American intelligence agencies told Trump early on that they believed China was being dishonest. If he’d believe them, we’d be in a different place today.

Even when the crisis ends, the only way we’ll be safe is if we usher in a new era of international cooperation in order to prepare for its possible re-emergence in the future. Humanity is one ecosystem and we’ll have to start living that way. All will be safe or none will be safe

Shouldn’t the work of Congress be considered an “essential service?” And if it’s not, then what does that say?

When every medical provider has proper PPE, they should go on recess. When every hospital has the respirators, ventilators & medicine they need, they should go on recess. When money is in the pipeline to give every American what they need to survive this, they should go on recess
