Hearing doctors and nurses literally begging for the supplies they need is heartbreaking. They’re all over the news making their pleas, but the president says he’s “not hearing it.” Could some rich Republican donor please call him and get the point across?

The president could absolutely direct industries now to manufacture masks, respirators, ventilators etc on an emergency basis. For whatever reason he is choosing not to do it.

This isn’t easy for anyone but we’re going to get through it. The most important thing is to stay in touch with people who might need our help. Who should we call? Who should we pick up groceries for & leave them on the porch? Who just needs us to check in because they’re scared?

I have lots of respect for mayors and governors throughout the country. They have tremendous amount of responsibility right now and for the most part are shouldering it admirably, particularly given how little support they’re getting from the federal government. It’s unbelievable
