“You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world.” Did that fall on deaf ears?

Dear God, In this moment of fear and anguish may our agony not be in vain. May the tears we cry serve to purify our hearts. May things we fear remind us, of an even greater fear that is felt by others. Lift us above the scourge that is among us by lifting us above ourselves. Amen

I ran for president because I recognize the level on which politics and economics matter. As Martin Luther King said, we need a “quantitative shift in our circumstances and a qualitative shift on our souls.” I do my best to be on top of it in both areas.

I’m doing plenty of that. My Twitter, Instagram and Facebook platforms are filled with inspiration and so forth. But if we use that to avoid the deeper spiritual work, we will only treat symptoms and not cause. In that case, symptoms will only morph into new ones. It’s both/and.

That DOES empower the people.

What does it mean to atone? It means to get it, face it, admit it. Where have we been heartless and reckless? Where have we been irresponsible? Where have we put money before people and planet? Seeing it, facing it & sincerely atoning, we’ll transform otherwise inevitable results

Oh America now we know how it feels. So many more of us in desperate need...knowing what it feels like now ...wondering whether we’ll have enough food, wondering whether loved ones are safe. The heart of America is cracking open. Painful, but it’s good in ways. Our time to atone.

No you’re not. We already have a catastrophe on our hands so there’s no need to catastrophize further. Meditate:)

He is like someone who thinks they should treat the serfs a little better. He gives a little bit with his left hand while with his right hand he increasingly does things that make it harder and harder for the average American.

It did not. He used that as an excuse but there’s no way he really thought that it would.

His signature economic policy was the 2017 $2 trillion tax cut in which $.83 of every dollar went to the richest corporations & individuals. While the middle class part of it was good, 83% of it only served the very wealthiest and in no way trickles down. That’s how he operates.

Yes, he did say that. Yet his policies as president have been totally in contradiction to that kind of viewpoint.

Well that was certainly silly.

Amazing to watch politicians wake up - like it’s some huge revelation - that maybe we shouldn’t have sold out American manufacturing over the years for quick corporate bucks after all. Turns out doing right by the American worker would’ve been the smart thing after all, huh guys?

During WW2 FDR told carmakers there would be no further car sales until he had his needed # of ships, tanks & planes. Trump could do the same w/ medical supplies. No good reason for lack of back-up for our medical professionals. We’re asking them to fight a war without ammunition
