No I’m not! I saw Biden’s talk today and I also saw Bernie’s. Bernie by far has the plan we most need right now. Hands down.

The Director of Center for Infectious Diseases said today that our system is simply not set up to deal with a health emergency like this. The marketplace shouldn’t be our main organizing principle for exactly this reason. We need a humanitarian rather than economic bottom line.

I would prefer a public option coupled with a competent president, but in the absence of a competent president you bet we need Medicare for All.

My daughter lives in London and she was showing me today how the UK is handling the coronavirus. Looking at that and the responses of other countries too, one thing is clear: in an age of health emergencies, we need at the very least a semi-socialized system of medicine.

If you know how to meditate, meditate regularly. If you do not know how to meditate, there are many places on the Internet that will teach you. Meditation and connection to a Higher Power are proven to boost the immune system.

Every problem comes bearing its own solution. The coronavirus carries a critical message: “Put taking care of everyone before all else, or none of you will be safe.” Humanity will now learn that lesson, either through wisdom or through pain.

Isolate socially but don’t isolate emotionally or spiritually. The way to get through this is to make it not about you. Check on any elderly family & friends. Make sure they have everything they need. Scan your mind for people you know who might need your help. Protect the tribe

The federal govt should have taken emergency measures weeks ago. Other countries did, and there were plenty of voices warning them they should. Protection of the economy took precedence over protection of the people. Trump admin plans should be overridden by bi-partisan consensus

At a certain point, you stop pretending that a pathological liar is telling you the truth. Yes such a person is still an innocent child of God, but you do not risk your safety or the safety of others by allowing yourself to be enrolled in their pathology.

Oh, that is not the bottom line. The bottom line is that this is something we will get through only if we get through it together.

How the government responds to this IS a political issue!

Trump is simply lying; Biden is treating it as a problem; only Bernie is treating it as the crisis that it is, recommending full on economic mobilization to serve all Americans during a potentially catastrophic event.

Uh, maybe we should cancel that order for 100 B-21 Raiders all equipped with nuclear bombs at the rate of $560M each, and use the money instead to pay for free testing and coronavirus treatment... We need to change our thinking about all this, do it quickly, and speak it loudly.

THIS!
I did the math: a full battery of coronavirus testing costs at minimum $1,331. I also did the legal research: the Administration has the authority to make testing free for every American TODAY. I secured a commitment from a high-level Trump official that they’d actually do it.
