Who “gave me a platform!?” 🤔Thomas Jefferson started the whole thing. Then Susan B. Anthony and some of her friends did more.

Given the state of our country and the state of the world, what is crazy is our collective belief that only those who drove us into this ditch are qualified to pull us out of it.

I thought really hard and deep about your comment and I’ve decided to stay with what I thought. I was qualified, and I’m not crazy.

If they’re so good at it then why 13 million hungry children in the US, 100,000 homeless children in the US, elementary school children on suicide watch and millions of kids with clinical PTSD. Obviously someone’s letting the ball drop, but what really matters is gender language?

Obviously. And I didn’t say it was our responsibility. You said that.

A generation more sensitive to our own childhood wounds than any in history is now more neglectful of traumatized children in our midst than any in our history. Are we really so delusional as to think we’ve improved on everything?

Not sexist. Not tone deaf. You just don’t like it! And that’s fine. I write books and things. I say what I believe. Tough to do in today’s environment, but I hang in.

I do appreciate the defense, but may I ask... what one true fact was ever repeated about me that constitutes “crazy?”

.@JoeBiden @BernieSanders I’m sure you would agree that our Democratic nominee should be a person who will stand up for what is right. So I ask that you have the courage to do that now in the face of the DNC's effort to keep me from participating in the debates. #LetTulsiDebate

The point isn’t just to elect a woman per se as important as that is. The most important thing is a woman’s primary concerns: to protect children- which must mean everyone’s child & not just our own; and take care of our home- which today means the home we share, or earth itself.

“The end is inherent in the means.” - Mahatma Gandhi. Who we are is as important as what we do, because everything we do is influenced by the consciousness with which we do it. That’s why Gandhi said “self-purification” must precede political action.

“We need a quantitative shift in our circumstances and a qualitative shift in our souls.”- MLK Jr. Societal transformation is not either/or; it’s both/and. Our attitudes are as important as our activism.
