Will you now be called “kooky” or “woo woo” because you said that? Bet not. (I agree with you, by the way)

That “weird kooky thing” was a narrative specifically designed to make sure you wrote me off.

I experienced a microcosm in my own campaign of what Bernie Sanders experienced yesterday: the pernicious ways they’ll use to get you off the stage when they find you inconvenient. I hope with all my heart that the American people will see through all this today.

In his farewell address, George Washington warned us against political parties. He said they would form “factions of men” who’d be more concerned with their faction than for their country. Who knew Washington was psychic?

Not sure what happened here. As soon as I didn’t see eye to eye with you about something, Deina, it seems like I became your enemy. No, I’m not going after” anyone.

Joe is a nice man. I like him. But Hillary’s pitch was “Let’s continue the Obama years” - and it didn’t work! It won’t work now!!! What seems to some like a “safe bet” is the most dangerous route we can take now. Trump will look like the one with new ideas! Arghhh!

Those are not just words. Those are two huge political realities. The real question is, what other Senators have done that?

What has he accomplished? First of all, we would not even be talking about universal healthcare if it were not for Bernie Sanders. Secondly, he has ignited the passion of millions of Americans, particularly young Americans twice in a row in the direction of progressive politics.
