Or maybe I’m not. Perhaps that was the point all along.

Bernie’s not calling for a destruction of capitalism! I’m a capitalist but I do think business should have a conscience. That doesn’t destroy capitalism, it saves it. American capitalism has strayed from an ethic center, now untethered to moral consideration for people or planet

I don’t know what country you lived in, but the democratic socialism that Bernie Sanders is talking about is not like Venezuela or Cuba! All he’s saying is that there should be universal healthcare and higher education available to all! How is that bad?

You gave yourself away when you implied I’m into the law of attraction.

Love you too! But what we have right now is free lunches, dinners, breakfasts and in between glasses of champagne for a tiny group of Americans at the expense of the vast majority. They are the ones getting all the “free stuff.”

I understand your point of view, but I think the old calculus is obsolete. Remember, Hillary spent a lot more money than Trump. I don’t think this race will be won by money but by conviction.

Got it. Well what I’m sure we agree on is the importance of the Democrat winning.

How about the fact that we don’t even know yet who’s going to be in the House and Senate next year. Plus the House is Democratic now. Obama was the great accommodater and Mitch still tried to obstruct him on everything. Being “nicer” won’t help.

Bernie Sanders is not trying to make the United States into Venezuela! And what’s extreme is continued tax cuts for the extremely rich. When you talk about the size of Trump’s rallies, remember the Democratic base is the size of all the Democratic candidate rallies put together.

As long as you’re friendly like that, America will be fine. But on a serious note, the 2017 $2T tax cut gives $.83 of every dollar to the top 1% of Americans. And it will never pay for itself. THAT is a “cockamamie scheme.”
