The next American president should declare that our goal is a world at peace by the end of the 21st-century.

Gandhi said the end is inherent in the means. Everything we do is infused with the consciousness with which we do it. Who we are when we’re doing something will alter the effects of what it is we do.

The solution to our political crisis lies in discovering its deeper meaning, and that’s not somply a management issue. A system that refuses to recognize the genesis of a crisis has no power with which to end it. Http://newstoryhub.com/2020/…

Tell your candidate you want him or her to do more than treat sickness; you want a healthier America. Add these ideas to the conversation. marianne2020.com/issues/the-…

Millions of children need community wrap-around services, mental health services, nutrition and food, trauma-informed education, anti-bullying, violence prevention. We need a Dept of Children and Youth. marianne2020.com/issues/plan…

We don’t have a healthcare system, we have a sickness care system. Ask why we have a higher rate of chronic illness than do citizens in other rich countries. To really provide healthcare, we need to take on chemical, food, Big Ag and fossil fuel policies that regularly poison us.

Nice white people wringing their hands about systemic racism but not suggesting policy changes that fundamentally alter the economic gap between blacks & whites is still refusing to tackle the primary moral issue. We need to pay reparations for slavery now.

Question of healthcare should not be limited to M4A v. public option; issue of universal accessibility now settled for Dems. We also need a system that incentivizes health, tackles factors that make sickness more probable, and covers non-surgical & non-Pharma options for healing.

We don’t just have a gun problem; we have a violence problem. We should have as stringent gun safety legislation as possible within purview of 2nd Amendment, but we should also have a Dept. of Peace to deal with underlying social issues that make eruption of violence inevitable.

Mutual admiration, Matthew.
Regardless of who your favorite candidate is, we can count on @marwilliamson to always bring us back to what we’re here for. A loving society. An advanced society. A positive future for us our kids, our grandkids and all the creatures of the earth.

The way to win in 2020 is to present to the American people the moral argument for a progressive alternative.

It should be a national goal that every school in America be a palace of learning, culture & the arts. This isn’t a matter of possibilities; it’s only a matter of priorities. The way to have a more prosperous economy 10 years from now is to take better care of our 10yr olds today

Vote for a progressive candidate. They are the ones most likely to address the issue.
