I’m too old to want to do it now and you’re too young for me to want to do it with.

I am. Are you under the impression that means we’re supposed to just pour pink paint on the wound? Do a spiritual bypass? “I can’t take from you what you will not release to me.” It says we’re not here to bring the light to the darkness but rather to bring the darkness to light.

We all get that, @EdMarkey. What we’re all dying to hear is what you guys are going to do about it.

I needed to hear that. Hallelujah. This is how it’s going to happen - not just with big acts but also with small ones. We shall overcome.

4/ God bless America, land that I love. Stand beside her & guide her through the night with a Light from above. That light is rising in the hearts of millions during this night of chaos. The night will pass & one day you will tell your story: “I was there and I did what I could.”

3/ Fascism in America is an assault on the very core of who we are as a nation. It is so much bigger than the insanity of just one man. How it emerged will be studied for many years into the future, but the role of our generation is to stand up to it right now.

2/ Fascism is the opposite of a free, democratic, self-governing society. It is a form of far-right, authoritarian ultranationalism characterized by dictatorial power, forcible suppression of opposition, and strong regimentation of society and the economy.

1/ If our country were being invaded by foreign armies, we’d be throwing money at the Pentagon to help beat those forces back. But our country is being invaded by something more dangerous than that. We’ve been invaded by a consciousness of fascism.

Watch and weep - for these women and for this country.
Peaceful protesters use their RIGHTS as Americans to stand up for justice and equality. This treatment and excessive force should NEVER be used on them. Thankfully, these Indy officers were indicted on battery and other charges. They must be held accountable for their actions!

I like & respect her too but this isn’t high school student council that we’re talking about here. Our leaders should be held to account - all of them. It hasn’t helped anyone the way Democrats put someone in office they trust & then just fall in line behind them no matter what.
