I have a clear resume on that one. But I also have a resume on rights of countries that did not deserve to be invaded by us & industries that did not deserve to be supported by us & people who did deserve criminal & economic justice from us. All those are issues in that election.

That situation has ended up in a place for me where it’s simply up to the people in that district to vote their conscience and do what they think is best. All voices are out there & now it’s theirs to decide.

George Washington warned us against political parties. I totally understand the issue, but for me our immediate situation demands voting for all Democrats this year. Tried & trying hard to make it the progressive candidates, that’s for sure.

I tweeted earlier today about @Bradshaw2020. Her primary win is thrilling!

And you think the best response to that risk is to elect a king? That’s where we disagree.

Great progressive candidates made valiant attempts to take down the Machine in Democratic Cong. & Senate primaries this season; some lost and some won. But a few of them are still on the field so support them right now!! Every $5 helps. Www.progressivecandidatesumm…

There’s nothing reasonable about an economic system that serves a few at the expense of the many.

That IS what’s on our wish list. Cruz’ characterizing it as more than that is the contempt I’m talking about.

Your contempt for the poor is on full display here, Senator.
Why be so cheap? Give everyone $1 million a day, every day, forever. And three soy lattes a day. And a foot massage. We have a magic money tree — we should use it!

Those who take the idea of "government of the people, by the people and for the people" literally - not to mention "liberty and justice for all" - should not be seen as leftwing extremists but as mainstream patriots. Love is radical but that's a good thing.

"Many told us we didn't have a place here" said @Bradshaw2020 after beating the Machine & winning the Democratic Senate primary in Tennessee. Such wins as hers are like flowers growing up through the cement, showing all of us what's possible on even the darkest days. Go Marquita!

.@JamaalBowmanNY said it best: the status quo is not an effective opposition to a politics of hate. People all over America are ready for a politics of love.

I wholeheartedly agree. @KeedaHaynes didn’t win this time but I’m totally up for supporting her in 2022. I hope she’ll run again.
Amazing run by @KeedaHaynes against The Machine. This was on her first try. Imagine what it will be like in 2022!

I'm glad you're back in the conversation with me, Jim. All these situations are complicated and no one has a monopoly on truth. We need to learn from each other & even when we disagree we can learn more about why the other person feels the way they do.

No one of us can take on every problem because the totality is enormous. But if each of us commits to 10% higher level of performance each day articulating solutions, exposing things that need to be exposed & taking a stand for justice, then we’ll be on our way to a serious shift
