That's why learning how to endure and transform crisis is so important! When you know its landscape it doesn't terrify you so much.

I have never done any such thing. Nor will you ever find actual evidence that I have. NONE whatsoever. I did very much the opposite. mariannenow.com/mariannes-wo…

I never said you can be Jewish & Christian at the same time; they're 2 different religions. But there's a Christ-centered spirituality many do not associate with the dogmas of the Christian religion. Re what people say about me, I've pretty much heard everything at this point! Oy

2/ Don't expect every hour of a crisis to be happytime. Just let that hour pass without letting it take you down. It's how the ego works, to emotionally & psychologically defeat you that way. Be strong for others when they're down & ask others to be strong for you when you are.

1/ During a time of crisis a plan for getting out of it is imperative. But another factor is just as important. Fear & despair will come at you like a tsunami; it's your opponent as much as anything else. If you allow it to it will take you down. Learn to say"Get thee behind me."

Every time you read history and get a clearer understanding of your part in it, you counteract despair. Every time you take any action to activate or articulate a brighter future for the world - especially remembering millions of others are doing it too - you counteract despair.

First of all, they’re not really called the Dark Ages any more for just that reason. They were the very kind of precursor I’m talking about.

I think the heart will lead us there, and it beats in people of every age. I have a lot of faith in younger people but I have faith in all of us.

Yes. In the long term I think it will be better than ever. The short term and medium term stand to be very rough waters, but the long-term will be amazingly beautiful.

We need to remember our ancestors. Think of the people who walked across the bridge at Selma, or the women thrown into prison for marching for women’s suffrage. Would they not have been anxious and scared? Let them inspire you. They do me.

The majority has never determined the tide of history. Abolitionists weren’t a majority, nor women suffragettes nor civil rights mvmt. Societal change begins with a small group of people, usually considered radicals by the status quo of their time, who simply have a better idea.

You think pointing out oppression & injustice is a shadow side? I think complacency & false positivism are a shadow side. Do you say about the crucifixion/ resurrection, slavery in Egypt/the promised land - you can’t have it both ways? The world is both ways. That’s the point.

The kind of friction we’re seeing in civilization today isn’t easy to endure but it’s a prerequisite to the leap into a higher order of things. So much coming up to be healed, so many realizations newly seen. One day we’ll look back on all of it as having been worth the struggle.
