Before Reagan became president, they were. Deregulation in order to increase corporate profits was an organizing principle of Reaganomics; to let the market do its thing without putting ethical or moral considerations first. Corporate profits before social good. And here we are.

Testing, contact tracing, PPE....None of them were done on time. Economic stimulus that actually helps the people of the United States on any level comparable to other countries....Even now has not been done. No one could call how he has handled this a success.

No. The president could have invoked Defense Production Act immediately to create testing & PPE & contact tracing to save thousands of lives. States & hospitals begged for help. Instead they sent money to bail out corporate interests. A disgusting betrayal of the American people.
