I agree. She doesn’t need it and she probably wouldn’t choose to do it. But I think the conversation is important because it recognizes the need to replace “rotten, centuries old systems.” Democrats need the audacity to make fundamental breaks with the past.

Not necesssrily. We need a social conscience and appropriate regulation of capitalism. Plus $ out of politics. The healthiest society has elements of both capitalism and socialism.

The very rich in America have gotten so used to receiving more that they can’t imagine receiving less & the poor in America have gotten so used to receiving less that they can’t imagine receiving more. The former commands power while the latter still begs for crumbs. It’s wrong.
