So deeply challenging now to live what we know, to love & forgive everyone no matter what. To find that place inside where we stand firm for something while at the same time refusing to close our hearts. I’m in that place just like everyone else. But when I pray for it, it works.

I was on both of those during the campaign, plus a couple more.

Thank you. (It’s much easier being accepted into the boy’s club when you’re a boy.)

1/ I’ve written two books that put the history of the United States in a spiritual and philosophical context: “Healing the Soul of America” and “A Politics of Love.” I think they give important insights into how we got to this point of chaos and what we need to do to move forward

USPS isn’t essential to YOU, but it’s essential to millions of others. The fact that we’ve strayed so far from the ideal that all of us matter has now produced almost uncontrollable chaos - economically, socially, politically & personally. It has thrown us into a national trauma.

No. If all you’re after is making money-and in some aspects of the private sector that’s legitimate - you take a tiny rural place where only 3 people need their medicines off your route. It doesn’t make sense from a business perspective; that’s why it needs to be a public venture

No it could not. No private investment makes sense in something that has to go to some weird address, no matter what, even if just for one person. That’s the difference between public and private investment. Public investment is not for profit; it’s simply in service to society.

Oh they sure don’t. Nominees chosen by “guys with cigars” in back room deals. Plus the debates are a reality tv show. The saddest thing about it is the people are really smart; the primary voters are up for the job. We’re losing our democracy because we have abused our democracy.

Oh my God.
Portland police tried to push people over the railing of the 205 overpass on lombard. Protesters had to pull people back up
