America needs a miracle: a shift from fear to love. We need to reconcile with our history, atone for our mistakes, pay reparations for slavery etc so we can dissolve the unreconciled emotional ambivalence. If we don’t fall in love with America we won’t be able to lift it back up.

Indianans, start making noise!
#Indiana has purged 20,000 voters in violation of a federal court order, and in total has cancelled the registrations of a mind-boggling 469,000 voters — the majority using suspect methods. gregpalast.com/indiana-caugh…

Americans had lost our emotional connection to democracy, a sense of why it matters to us & to the world. Taking it for granted we failed to tend to it; having failed to tend to it we now see it threatened. We can consider this a wake-up call. We were sleeping & now we’re waking.

We bring darkness light by exposing it. Miracles are a shift from fear to love, such as economic thinking based on fear turning into thinking based on love. God’s plan for the teachers of God: HS guides us within the illusion. Not for us to judge what someone else’s guidance is

Also, ACIM says God can’t take from us what we will not release to Him. It says we can’t bring the light to the darkness, we have to bring the darkness to the light. ACIM is not about pouring pink paint over the ego, it’s about dissolving it by exposing it to the Light.

Wait. So you think “a course in miracles” says to ignore the illusion, rather than allow the Holy Spirit to send God’s teachers into it to transform it? A lot of people seem to read only the first page. Hard to get the message when you don’t really read the whole thing.

@AlThawadiZ You can’t say an official joint investigation is going on, when Turkey says Saudi Arabia is not cooperating with it or allowing them on to the premises of the consulate.

True. But I also think that sometimes both men & women choose willful ignorance. With 40% of all Americans having a hard time making food, rent, health and transportation costs, none of us should so easily buy it that “the economy is doing so well.” For who exactly? Not for them.

We used to be called a “cackle of hens” and now we’re called a “violent mob!”

The most powerful element propping up an unjust system is the willingness of enough women to look away. The most powerful element in its potential for dismantling an unjust system is the willingness of enough women to take it on. #hearmegirls?

A “business decision” should never override an ethical & moral decision. We need to challenge the fundamental premise of an economics that puts market forces before Love for people and planet. #newdaycomin

You and I do not agree disagree about that. But neither have I said categorically that I know they did it. I did not say that.I spoke to the fact that Trump has said that even if they did, he has no interest in cancelling the arms deal.

Oh, wait. Because I have a platform I should play along? I see it the opposite way: It’s because I have a platform that I should refuse to play along. If you want to talk about American corruption, it’s the temptation to choose brand protection before the speaking of one’s truth.

Not sure why you’re rushing to defend something so hideous (and the private jets that arrived in Istanbul from Saudi Arabia? Saudi Arabia not allowing Turkish officials into the consulate?), but we’ll have to leave it at a draw I guess. For Khashoggi’s sake, I hope I’m wrong.

This is the difference. The citizens of the United States have the right to make a lot of noise about that, and hopefully we will.
