I hear you. But I think she is and does.

Great! Give them fish then! That’s exactly what a free college education would be! (and subsidies to the wealthy ARE a hand up to those who do not need it)

If God forbid the system were to collapse, the people who got to control the rebuild - trust me - would not be the peace and love and justice types.

Oh please. “If they give it to rich people, they call it a subsidy. If they give it to poor people, they call it a handout.” - MLK Jr.

The greatest paradigm shift needed in the 21st-century is a change in organizing principle from an economic to a humanitarian bottom line. Nothing less than that is just, environmentally or economically sound, or even survivable for the human race. It’s ours to decide. #votelove

If we’re serious about changing the direction of things in Nov., we need to look beyond our own districts and states. Teresa Gasper is a Democrat running in a winnable district OH-10. Good woman, important state! Let’s provide support gasperforcongress.com

When wealthy elite uses tax law to enrich itself, leeching billions from middle class & poor only to serve itself, it’s not just that it doesn’t want to share money; it’s that it doesn’t want to share power. Economic injustice is a way of strangling our democracy, & they know it.

Greatest generator of a healthy economy isn’t corporate wealth but the creative energy of non-stressed human beings. Universal healthcare & free college - both of which would ease the stress & add to the purchasing power of millions of people - would only add to our economic good

When people with over $200M in the bank have a problem with the idea of universal healthcare & fear the Democratic Party is lurching too far to the Left, they are promoting an amoral economic paradigm that will be overwhelmed by the forces of history.

You don’t learn from history by honoring the wrong side.

Having been born and raised in a state that fought with the Confederacy, I have the right to say have ridiculous that is. It does no honor to the South to make excuses for slavery, or to whitewash its history.

It’s the opposite. It’s a way of honoring history to honor the facts. The Confederacy lost the war.

A life lived without principles is not that much of a life.

Yes I am! And that is ridiculous. Germans do not honor the Nazi flag as a way of honoring the Germans who died in World War II.
