I think it is the opposite of tasteless! I was in Austria two weeks ago, and visited the Mahausen concentration camp. The way we honor the victims, and prevent their horror from happening again, is by educating ourselves about how such things happened...and could happen again.

America is being awakened by this crisis & in the end we will be better for having gone through it. We're being reminded that democracy can't be taken for granted, that it's a responsibility as well as a right, and conscious citizenship is part of any evolved & well-lived life.
