The worst part isn’t that Mattis resigned. The worst part is that Trump replaced him with a Deputy who’s a former Boeing executive. A military industrial complex corporate business leader rather than a military person will now run the Dept. Of Defense. All business all the time.

The Civil Rights movement was a call for fundamental change. Many argued that Martin Luther King Jr. was moving too fast, but he argued against “incrementalism” saying the status quo at a certain point would only co-opt the changes.
