Bloomberg says every presidential candidate must have plan for how to combat climate change. That’s displacement of the real issue; environmentalists know what we need to do. The plan we need is for how to combat $ donated to corrupt politicians who then block what we need to do

Yep. Interesting omission, don't you think?

Our govt. does more to serve the goal of short term profit maximization for mutli-national corporations rather than it does to serve people and planet. That is the cancer underlying all other cancers, the one issue underlying all other issues -- the economic tyranny of our time.

Today's "Meet the Press" implies the issue regarding Climate Change is that We the People don't understand depth of the problem. That's not true. The problem is the financial & political power to deny, exerted by fossil fuel companies etc. to protect short term corporate profits.

Whoever might have hurt you, the most powerful way to deal with it is to pray for their happiness daily. Within 30 days, they will either change... or you won't care. Prayer lifts us above the emotional turbulence of a bound and unforgiving heart.

The most powerful way to prepare for the new year is to forgive everything and everyone who hurt you in 2018, including yourself. Forgiveness is the only thing that cleans the slate, dissolving the old so the new can come in.

While I can’t disagree with your description of what we have become, I submit to you that it’s our responsibility as citizens to change that. We have swerved from our philosophical foundations and it is up to us to course-correct.

What does politics have to do with philosophy? Everything. Politics that doesn’t rest on the foundation of a philosophy of Truth becomes a convenient tool for a philosophy of lies. It is far too powerful a part of life to leave outside the purview of the higher mind.

When it’s time for a chicken to hatch the eggshell fills with a noxious gas causing the chicken to start pecking. The baby is literally dying to be born. We too are dying to be born into a greater expression of ourselves, the spot we’re now at having become an uninhabitable place

Exactly. Yet short-term profit maximization 1)isn’t even good business, and 2)should not be the bottom line for government. The well-being of people, planet, and democracy should be our government’s bottom line.

I don’t think it’s that they don’t see the forest; for them, it’s their economic vision of the world for corporate interests to be our main organizing principle. It’s for the rest of us to see that for what it is, ask ourselves if it’s the world we want, & protest if we disagree.

Trump’s first Sec. of State was former CEO of Exxon. New Sec. of Defense was a 30-yr. exec at Boeing. When State & Defense are both headed by business leaders, the higher purposes of diplomacy & waging peace are sacrificed to corporate interests. See the forest not just the trees
