It's not that simple; messing with the Bill of Rights is not what we want to do. Mess with "right to bear arms" and someone else will start messing with "right to free speech." We don't need is not to get rid of the Amendment - just interpret it sanely as the Founders would have.

Let's be clear: there's is no way to KNOW whether that conduct changed the election outcome, because there's no way to know who might have changed their mind because of it. And if 1 PER CENT of the FB ads placed by the Russians did change someone's mind, that changed the results.

Our main challenge now is psychological & emotional, like bridging the distance between "anti-slavery" & "Abolitionist." The former just means "I don't agree"; the latter means "NOT ON MY WATCH!" It's not enough now to just be angry or upset. The point is to be fierce and active.

Nothing more important than knowing who your Congressperson is. And get clear about their position on gun safety laws. Look it up, call their office, etc. If he or she is an NRA shill, start now to elect a replacement in November. If you have a Senate election this year, that too

Yes, the culture has to change. And so do the laws. It's not an either/or. No amount of talk about culture can distract us from the fact that it's INSANE for a 19 year-old to be able to legally purchase an assault rifle.

Exactly. Which is why we need politicians who will work on behalf of overturning the effects of Citizens United! Hillary would have appointed a liberal SCOTUS. So now, our only option is a Constitutional Amendment to establish public funding. And we need politicians to enact it!

Simply not true. Demonizing all politicians is part of what got us here. There are good politicians just like they are good anything else, and it is our responsibility as citizens to find them and support them.
