All hands on deck. Let's not be the first generation of Americans to wimp out on doing what it takes to self-correct this nation when it's gone off the rails. It's not FDR's job or John's or Martin's or Bobby's; it's our turn now. (And cynicism is just an excuse for not helping)

Just want to point out that we stole this country from Native Americans to begin with. WHITE PEOPLE WERE THE ILLEGALS. What, do we think God gave us the DEED to this country? And darn right he should be granted a stay based on his son's treatment. Otherwise, who have we become?

Did you say the PROGRESSIVES have attacked the nuclear family? No. Nothing has hurt the nuclear family more than the chronic patterns of economic despair experienced by millions living on the losing end of wealth inequality. It's' progressives who seek to fight economic injustice

Over and over and over again. And we're not alone. Millions of people are awake and activated now. We are on a long march and we're marching together.

It is awful how many schools in this country no longer teach civics or even American history to our children. That is in large part how we got here. We need to compensate for that. Start a book club! A lot of us need to relearn what we learned in the 7th grade.

That is for each person to decide for themselves. But many on both Left and Right now agree that it is NOT the authoritarian gang now running amok within our government.

By reminding OURSELVES what those principles are! All men r created equal; e paribus unum: out of many we're one; we're free to practice any religion or no religion; govt role is to balance individual liberty w/ care of the common good: & we're to be govt. of, by & for the people

As important as it is that we do everything possible to transfer power back to reasonable people in '18 & '20, we're going to have to do more than that in order to shift our country back to actual democratic principle. We need a profound psychological and emotional awakening too.

No matter how much military strength or financial might or great technology we have, if the USA throws overboard our principles - and most importantly, our heart - then we will go down as surely as any other empire whose arrogance tossed it into the dustbin of history. Karma. Is.

Let this kind of thing depress you for an hour, maybe 2. Then rise up, wash your face, & do everything in your power to help the Congressional or Senatorial candidates who you want to see replacing the gang in power now. THIS WILL ONLY STOP IF WE STOP IT. huffingtonpost.com/entry/ice…

Ask your own internal guidance. There are so many ways to uplift the energy of the world around you. Some large, some small, all important.

There are millions of people all over the world now embracing a more open-hearted worldview, recognizing it’s the only survivable option for the human race. We don’t need a majority, just a critical mass. Think Tipping Point - and add to it every day.
