That's what this is; not a party, but definitely the conversation.
HUGE! The wave is rising. GOP Congressmember just called on the FCC to cancel its vote to kill net neutrality planned for tomorrow. broadcastingcable.com/news/w… All this is happening because of massive protests, over 1 million phone calls to Congress. CALL YOUR REPS! 202 224 3121.

From wins in VA to AL, important to realize the hard work that created the wins. From volunteers to $ (those Doug Jones TV ads were critical), THAT's the level of commitment it takes to win. Take that in, cuz it's the kind of alignment of purpose and practice we'll need next year

A deep bow to the Alabamans who worked so hard, and did whatever it took, to make this victory happen. Millions of us are so grateful.

Conservatives such as Steve Schmidt, David Frum, Richard Painter, etc. are calling out what's happening as intelligently as any progressives. At the highest level, Left and Right are actually allies in resisting the authoritarianism of the Trump forces.

If you're looking for a way to make a difference today, call your Reps at 202-224-3121 and tell them two things: 1) fund the CHIP program (children's health), and 2) don't end neutrality!

I don't want to ruin anybody's morning but here's what ending Net Neutrality & policing the Internet might look like: let's say you criticize the govt, then the next thing you know your site (or twitter acct?) is blocked. These people are not kidding around & neither should you.

For now, if you're working on a campaign and tweeting and calling your Reps and supporting things like the ACLU, then you are full on doing what needs to be done. Add meditation, that would be my only other suggestion:)

Good thing to ask yourself today: if on a scale of 1 to 10 I really show up for my country next year at a level 10, joining the effort to stave off an assault on our democracy, what will that look like? Anything less than an 8 on the part of a critical mass, and we're going down.

Ending net neutrality and then the government policing the Internet. Sound horrible? Then brace yourself because that's exactly what they're trying to do. Call your Reps! 202-224-3121 google.com/amp/thehill.com/p…

No reason to assume '18 will be less stressful than '17. Hope doesn't mean '18 will be less stressful, but that we will be better prepared to take on its challenges. We were taken for a surprise this year & the shock threw us off our feet a bit. But next year? NO WAY. #wegotthis
