If you’re let’s say an elderly person living in a rural area and you don’t drive, then yes being asked to procure a picture ID can be a hardship. Those kinds of things. It shouldn’t be a Left-Right issue that we want people to vote.

"The only reason to be opposed to voter ID is so a non citizen can vote." Simply not true, Danny! Not opposed to an ID, just to a picture requirement because for more people than you might realize that is NOT easy to obtain. Those people ARE citizens, no different than you or me.

They’re citizens too, Danny!!

No Mr. President, this is not a great day for Israel, or for the Palestinians, or for peace. You have just thrown gasoline on a raging fire, and mocked the principles of justice at the core of the Jewish religion.

The same people that are demanding the picture ID are those making sure it’s not easy to obtain one.

Thank you. I understand how the world works.

In many cases (homeless/poor/elderly/rural) obtaining a picture ID is very difficult. Check out this map to see which states demand one in order to vote; it’s voter suppression when someone unable to obtain a picture ID is kept out of the voting franchise. ncsl.org/research/elections-…

Wealth created through legitimate acquisition is a good thing! Never claimed otherwise. Government rigged in the favor if those whose money can unduly influence the system is the problem.

You’re looking for the rich to “prevail??” So it’s a war to you?

Salaries did not increase, the bonuses were already planned. The unemployment figures belie the human reality behind it. Many having to work 2 or even 3 jobs, or stuck in fast food jobs in which there is no opportunity for growth. The middle class tax cuts were good but temporary

No amount of private charity can compensate for a basic lack of social justice.

This isn’t about chastising those three people, or any wealthy individuals. It’s about chastising a system that through unfair tax breaks for the very wealthy and other forms of corporate subsidies, leaches money away from investment in the vast majority of our citizens.
1
Not true that that wealth is not being taken from others. Money has been routinely taken away from projects that help people thrive, to be spent instead on tax breaks and other benefits to the wealthiest among us.

Original Mother’s Day proclamation was not what many people think. Mothers from both North & South came together to declare an end to war In the name of mothers everywhere. Don’t just seduce us with lunch and flowers kids: listen to what we have to say!! plough.com/en/topics/culture…

If you’re in the club of those blessed by the free market in America, there is no better place to be. But not enough people today have a realistic chance of getting in. Too many are locked out. The fact that we want to see economic justice doesn’t mean we’re anti-wealth!
It doesn’t bother me either. What bothers me is that there are way too many who have no realistic chance of even getting close. And the two are related.
