It's a big difference however, in that neutral access to the net gives you equal access to the marketplace of goods and Town square of ideas

Shock doctrine. They just keep coming. Full on assault on the fundamentals of democracy. They think we will tire, acquiesce. surrender. But we will not.

The FCC intends to totally repeal Net Neutrality tomorrow, meaning we will only see some people's websites quickly -- those who paid for the quicker lane. Think about what that means and grieve for your country. Sounds corny, kind of overdramatic, so maybe I should say it again.

It's too serious an issue for us to waste our energy on low-level emotion. Surrender your anger to God and ask that it be transmuted into deep and sober commitment to save your country from a malevolent clown.

Definitely I see it. But unfortunately it was a con.
Sometimes everything we want is right in front of us, but we don't see it because it hasn't been delivered in the package we wanted. We routinely throw away miracles simply by refusing to see them.

The world will become all that it can be when enough individuals living in it become all that we can be.

The problem is not our use of the word; the problem, too often, is our failure to deal with the reality.

He talked quite a bit about giving to the poor, as I remember. I read the book a few times and I didn't see anything about giving tax cuts to the rich.

I certainly don't believe Jesus is the problem! But not everyone who speaks in his name represents him well.

This is not a court of law. And even in a court of law, juries often have to decide whose story they believe

Dear Evangelical leaders, please explain to me what evil is. I thought sexual assault of 14-year-old girls would qualify ... but maybe I'm wrong?
