An example of the craziness: In the Senate version of the tax bill, someone gets a tax break for flying on a private jet! Noooooo!!! First you cry, then you laugh, then you meditate, then you call your Senators at 202-224-3121 and say, "Vote NO on this bill!"

If Senator Hatch wants people to stop saying he's voting for a tax bill that's just to give away to the rich, then he should vote against the tax bill! google.com/amp/s/www.mediait…

Despite his declarations that the tax cuts wouldn't help him, the bill if it passes could give the Trump family one BILLION dollars. nbcnews.com/politics/first-r… Do you want me to calculate for you how many days until the '18 midterms?

Now that the House passed their version of the tax bill, the Senate will be emboldened to pass theirs. Drown their offices in constituent calls, 202 224 3121. Say "No!!"

Read the article! The Senate plan would double the deduction, but the House plan that passed today scrapped it entirely.

Just to be clear: the struggle for economic justice is not "against" the wealthy. Many of America's richest citizens are deeply committed to economic rules of fair play. This is about systems, not about individuals.

We can't assume anything.

You can't separate democracy from economics though. In the words of the late Justice Brandeis:"You can have large amounts of money in the hands of a few, or you can have democracy. You cannot have both." Once the majority are economically desperate, they're pretty easy to control

Glad to hear it. That's the kind of energy we all need now. It will make all the difference.

Making a few people rich & the majority of people their economic serfs is not the way to run a country. It's the way to ruin a democracy. But people are waking up to this & in the years ahead we're going to see a citizen uprising that will shatter all expectations. I can feel it.

It will take time, but we will course-correct. The fate of this country is in the hands of its people, as long as we are awake to what's happening and committed to turning the ship around.

It is very difficult to be your creative best when you are shackled by the chains of economic despair. Things like today's tax bill is a violation of every principle of economic justice; it would create more rather than less hardship for millions of people. It is a shameful thing

The House just passed that tax bill. Look up how your Rep voted nytimes.com/2017/11/16/us/po… If they voted no, call and say thank you. If they voted yes, call and say you will make your voice heard during the election in 2018. 202 224 3121.
