Assault weapons have one purpose only: to kill people. It's obscene that they can be legally purchased by basically anyone who wants one.

Not one background check was needed for Holmes to amass the ammunition for a massacre. Obviously he was insane, & our gun laws are as well.

@musiclover1814 There is a gun lobby here called the NRA. A lawmaker who proposes even a tiny, rational gun control law is defeated by them.
@toetappin66 Credit card companies do not monitor gun purchases! And the National Rifle Association makes sure the government can't either.
