In a very real way, how dare he. @JoeNBC Joe Scarborough knows very well that the President has opponents, yet he repeats the lie that there is no Democratic primary. I am polling higher than anyone on the GOP debate stage last night, and Scarborough would never say Trump has no opponents. When he says there are “no Democratic primary opponents,” he simply means “no one that we like.”

There are options besides Joe Biden, and there’s no logical argument that just because he beat Trump last time he can beat him again. Thanks to @TheYoungTurks for giving @RepDeanPhillips, @cenkuygur and myself an opportunity to argue our case.

Some of the most significant voices in the environmentalist movement have either endorsed Biden or keep begging him to act differently as if one more tweet might do the trick. I feel like Dorothy in the Wizard of Oz. One side has no heart, another side has no spine, and almost everyone needs more courage.

About the Florida ballot issue: There is no way the President doesn’t know about it; it could not be happening without his tacit approval; and he could end the charade with one phone call.

The party and its media partners has promulgated the lie that only one of "them" should be considered qualified to take on Donald Trump. Yet the opposite is true. Trump is not a traditional politician, and only a radical truth-teller will be able to defeat such a radical liar.

"We don't run anyone else when we have an incumbent" is nothing but a PR narrative concocted to manipulate Decrats into thinking there's something nefarious about rmounning against Biden in the primary. That is absurd.

The DNC has assumed the right to replace voters as the ultimate arbiters of the nominating process. Yet only the people should decide what candidate would have the best chance of winning, and the DNC and media have consistently and undemocratically squelched opposing voices.

It's extraordinary how many Democrats remain in willful denial about President Biden's chances of winning in 2024. You don't have to dislike the President, or even disagree with most of what he's done in office, to think his choosing to run again is a selfish and unwise choice.🧵

The time to lay plans for a 2-state solution is now. Neither Hamas nor Netanyahu are willing or capable of doing that, but world leaders can exert more pressure on them than they are now. The U.S. should be helping to lead that effort. Our highest ally should be humanity itself.

Both peoples have the human right to a sovereign state, security and justice. That alone should be America's position, and what is happening in Gaza now does not support that. Our foreign policy cannot be guided here by what we can destroy but by what we can help create.

The U.S. government is in the absurd position of supporting the bombing of Gaza and simultaneously telling Israel to protect civilians. How do you protect people you're killing? There's no valid justification for what Netanyahu is doing in Gaza. The U.S. should not support it. 🧵
